A New Pose Please

For the love of all things good, can bloggers please find new poses? I am so tired of seeing people put their hand on their head, stand with their toes turned in, and looking downwards at their shoes that I can SCREAM!!! Ok. Rant over. Thanks. Bye.

American Apparel CEO in trouble AGAIN

Dov Charney, American Apparel CEO and founder, is being sued by a former employee for allegedly making her his 'sex slave'. When I read the headline, I was thinking..."hmmm what's going on in their factories in 'insert third world country here'?" (Horrible of me, right?) But then I remembered American Apparel's clothes are manufactured right here in the good ol' US of A. So, I read on.

Turns out, the woman claims that Charney held her prisoner in his apartment on her 18th birthday and forced her to perform sex acts on him. Alleged forced sex between the two took place over a span of eight months, but she claimed that she was too emotionally scarred to report it. I don't know. This guys has been in trouble before for being a sexual beast. Best of luck to both parties involved.

'The Misadventures of AWKWARD Black Girl'

I came across this video while reading Clutch magazine and I just had to share.

'The Misadventures of AWKWARD Black Girl' is a webseries created by and starring filmmaker Issa Rae. I've had my share of awkward moments so I'm sure others will find Awkward Black Girl totally relatable. She's awkward. She's hilarious. I'm a fan.
