Do I really have to explain why I love Sade? Anyone who loves great music, knows Helen Folasade Adu. Her breathtaking beauty and voice surpasses any artist, past or present, female or male. You may think that I am exaggerating, but I'm not really. What I love most about her songs are the lyrics. The simplicity in her lyrics convey such strong emotion, whether she is talking about heartache, love, pain or struggle. Now, I could go on and on about Sade's music but since this is FashionPersonified, I'll give you all a few little known facts about Sade that are fashion relevant.
She graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from Saint Martin's College in London. Upon graduating she and a friend started a male fashion company. Another thing to add to her fashion resume is a stint as a model. Luckily for us she did not have a passion for modeling or fashion for that matter. Not that she doesn't have what it takes. I'm just happy she chose music. I couldn't imagine a world without Sade. Oh and I hear she is working on a new album. I SO hope this is true.

Wow! I never knew that Sade was also into Fashion and Modeling! She definitely has the "look" of a model, but i guess "Lover's Rock" had me so captivated in her as a breathtaking artist, that i never imagined her doing anything outside of music.

Well if you thought Lover's Rock was good, listen to some of her earlier stuff, Diamond Life, Promise, just to name a few. Sade is beyond amazing!!
